About the 2026 Southern Illinois Dyslexia Center Collinsville Walk & 5K Fun Run
The course starts at the Children's Dyslexia Center on West Main Street and loops through the surrounding neighborhood streets before returning to the center. Walkers finish after a single loop; runners add a second lap to complete the distance. The route runs along sidewalks through a quiet downtown area, so the footing is straightforward and the surroundings are familiar.
Dogs are welcome on leash, which gives the morning a neighborhood-outing feel. After you finish, there is a kids activity area at the finish line. Check-in happens on race morning before the start.
