About the 2026 Southbury Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Fun Run
The course runs along Main Street South, turns onto Oak Tree Road, then loops back. It is flat and quick, the kind of road course where you can push your pace without worrying about hills. The race starts outside a fitness studio, and proceeds go toward local food, fuel, and neighbor-assistance programs.
Registration closes the evening before the race, and there is no race-morning signup. A kids fun run goes off before the main event, so families tend to arrive early. Team entries are welcome, with no cap on how many runners a team can bring.
