About the South Nyack 10-Miler

The course heads south from a park in South Nyack, tracing the Hudson shoreline through Grand View-on-Hudson and into Piermont, turning at the end of the pier and retracing the same path back. It is mostly flat along the river, but there is a real climb late in the race, pulling away from the water and up into Nyack before a gradual descent on the Esposito trail to the finish.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a sporting goods store in the Palisades Mall, which is worth doing to keep race morning simple. The finish area has bagels, bananas, ice cream, and craft beer. Nyack's street fair runs nearby the same day, so there is reason to linger after you finish.
