This is a dog-friendly walk and run through the South Gulf Cove community, with a full course and a shorter option designed for dogs and their people. It benefits local animal shelters and rescues, so the crowd tends to skew toward pet owners who take that cause seriously. The course is chip timed for the full distance, and the shorter route starts after the main wave clears.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Ingraham Boulevard address, with race-morning pickup opening well before the start. Parking can get tight, so arriving early helps. Afterward, there are grilled hot dogs and drinks on site, plus raffles and a silent auction; bring cash for those.
