About the Sonoita Vineyards Wine Run 5k

The course runs through Sonoita Vineyards, a working winery sitting high in rolling grasslands with mountain ranges visible on multiple sides. The elevation gives the air a different feel than the desert floor, and the vines are right there alongside the route. Staggered start waves spread the field out rather than sending everyone off in a single mass.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the winery itself, which means you can linger a bit if you like. Race-morning pickup is available too, but arriving early is worth it either way. The winery pours wine at the finish line.
