About the Snowman Scram 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K Run/Walk

The course is flat and runs on paved roads, starting and finishing at the school near the bus barn and track. It is a winter race, so expect cold air and a bundled-up crowd. The event raises money for the local cross country and track teams, and the atmosphere reflects that: school community, a few trophies on the table, chip timing so results come back fast.

Packet pickup is in the school lobby before the race, and the gym is open for warming up beforehand. Water is at the finish, and there are refreshments in the cafeteria afterward. A band plays while results are tallied.
