About the Smoke Rise 5 K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The course runs through wooded trails in the hills outside Warrior, winding past springs and through dense tree cover. It is genuinely hilly terrain, the kind that keeps you honest, with foliage close on both sides for most of the route. The shorter distance option makes it accessible for people who want the trail experience without the full effort.
After the finish, local food trucks are on site along with vendors. The post-race area has a festival feel, with activities aimed at younger kids as well as the usual post-race gathering.
