About the SMG 5K Race & 1 Mile Run

The course runs on the streets around a parish campus in Downers Grove. It is a road race, so expect pavement throughout, with the start and finish in the same spot. Several distance options are available, including a timed race and an untimed walk, which pulls in a wide range of people on race morning.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the parish parking lot, with race-morning pickup available there as well. Post-race awards go to age group finishers in the timed events.
