The Smelter City Scamper starts and finishes at Kennedy Commons in Anaconda, with several distance options spreading out across the morning. The race raises money for local food access programs, and the proceeds stay in the community. A kids' sprint rounds out the morning for families with younger children.
The race falls on Smeltermen's Day weekend, and when you cross the finish line at Kennedy Commons, the Brewfest is already getting started nearby. Packet pickup runs the evening before at Kennedy Commons, with an option to grab your bib race morning as well. A free pre-race yoga class runs before the first wave goes off.
