About the Skeleton Trail Shuffle & Tot Trot
The course runs through Friends Creek Conservation Area, following an old wagon trail past open meadows and under a fall tree canopy. There is a swaying bridge mid-route that gets people's attention. Costumes are part of the culture here, and a costume contest for adults adds a layer of competition that has nothing to do with pace.
Warm homemade food is served at the post-race gathering, though the exact location is announced closer to race day. Kids have their own short route through an open meadow trail, separate from the main course. Check-in happens on race morning before the first wave goes off.
