About the Skagit Veterans Fun Run
The course runs along Fairhaven Ave and serves as a warmup of sorts for the Burlington Veterans Day Parade, which steps off a couple hours later. The race is untimed, so there is a clock at the start and finish if you want a personal reference, but the mood is more about showing up than racing. All paces fit naturally.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at the American Legion Memorial Post, or on race morning at the Burlington Visitor Information Center near the start. The post itself is the organizing force behind the event and supports low-income and disabled veterans in Skagit County, so the entry fees go directly toward that work.
