About the SJN Mustang Miler 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The course starts at a Catholic school campus in Knoxville and heads out onto the Farragut greenway. It is a paved, straightforward route with the shorter fun run sharing the same path as the main race. Age and gender awards are spread across both distances, and the race is professionally timed.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon and evening before the race at the school. A fun wrinkle: costumes are welcome, and there are prizes for the best ones, so the start line tends to look a little different than a typical fall morning race.

The SJN Mustang Miler 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
