About the Sisters in the Fight 5K

The course runs along the Salisbury Greenway, so the surroundings are natural and quiet for a race tied to such a direct purpose. The nonprofit behind it supports families dealing with cancer, heart disease, domestic violence, and youth affected by gun violence, and the route itself reflects that grounded, purposeful spirit.

The start and finish are at an elementary school on Park Road West. Packet pickup and race-day registration both happen the morning of the race before the start, so there is no separate trip the day before. A shorter fun run for younger kids runs after the main race.
