About the Sisters at Heart 21st Annual Breast Cancer Fitness Walk
The in-person walk starts and ends on the Village Green, with a fitness warmup before the group heads out. The route moves from the Village Green to the Waterfront Boardwalk and loops back, so there is water along the way and a familiar anchor point at the finish. The event is built around breast cancer awareness, and the crowd is mostly friends and family walking together.
Registration opens at the Village Green before the walk begins. The virtual option lets participants join from anywhere during the event month, doing whatever activity works for them, and the organizers ask everyone to share photos on their Sisters at Heart Facebook page.
