About the Show Up & Glow Up 5K
This is an evening glow run held on a high school campus, finishing at the varsity football field. Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear neon and glow-in-the-dark gear, and music plays throughout. The course is on campus grounds, so the terrain is manageable and the surroundings are familiar for anyone who knows the area.
The event takes place after dark, so plan for that. The finish area is the football field, which gives the post-race gathering a bit of a stadium feel. There are snacks and water at the finish, and glow accessories are part of the race-day setup.
