About the Shiner Beer Run

The course runs through small-town Texas roads, and the setting is genuinely part of the draw. Shiner is a quiet place, and running through it feels different from a city race. Top finishers in each age group take home a stein, which fits the spirit of the event. Cold Shiner beer is waiting at the finish.

Packet pickup runs at running stores in San Antonio and Austin in the days before the race, then moves to the brewery yard the evening before and again on race morning. Parking near the grounds is tight, and overflow parking is a short walk away at the town square.
