About the Shillelagh Shuffle 5K

The race starts and finishes at a local brewery, with a shorter untimed option for kids and families alongside the main timed run. The course runs through Cornelius, and the whole morning has an Irish theme, including a costume contest for runners and their dogs.

Packet pickup happens at the brewery on the evening before race day. Post-race, there are food trucks, live music, and award announcements on site. Top finishers and age group winners take home YMCA memberships, pint glasses, and drink tokens.
