About the Shawnee Sasquatch 5K
The course starts and finishes on Main Street in downtown Harrisburg, near a new mural. From there it heads north, cuts east on Locust Street, then drops onto the Tunnel Hill State Trail, a paved bike path. After a stretch on the trail it loops back to Main Street and runs north to the finish. The route is mostly flat city streets with a short section of trail.
Packet pickup runs at Harrisburg City Hall in the days before the race, with morning-of pickup available as well. The start area is at a mural location on Main Street, across from the Harrisburg Courtyard.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Shawnee Sasquatch 5K has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
