The Shark Bite Half Marathon and 5k takes place in New Smyrna Beach, a coastal town that leans into its reputation as a shark bite capital. The half marathon course is certified and includes pace teams, which keeps the field moving with some structure. The 5k options run on both mornings, giving people a chance to double up across the weekend.
