About the Sharin' O' The Green 5k
The course runs point-to-point from a downtown park to Odell Brewing, and the whole thing tilts gently downhill, which makes for a fast, easy-feeling effort. You are running toward a brewery finish, so there is some built-in motivation. The surroundings are urban Fort Collins, and the St. Patrick's Day timing means the crowd along the way skews festive.
Because the route is one-way, the organizers run a bag truck from the start to the finish so you can check warm layers and collect them after. Parking is in the downtown area near the start, and the walk back to your car from the brewery is short enough to serve as a cooldown. There is a beer garden and live music waiting at the finish.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Sharin' O' The Green 5k has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
