The course mixes road and golf course terrain, with a stretch that crosses over a lake on the club grounds. It raises money for the Wounded Warrior Project, so the field tends to draw people who are there for the cause as much as the clock.
Packet pickup opens race morning, so there is no separate trip the day before. Parking is at the south and east end of the lot.
