About the Shamrock 5K Run/Walk

The course winds through the streets of Bel Alton, starting and finishing at the fire department. It is a road race through a small town, so expect neighborhood scenery rather than trails or parks. There is also a costume award for St. Patrick's Day gear, which gives the morning a bit of personality beyond the racing itself.

Packet pickup is the day before at Ape Hangers Bar and Grill, with race-morning pickup available there as well. Parking starts at Ape Hangers, and overflow is directed to the fire department field nearby. After the race, the crowd moves back to Ape Hangers for a post-race buffet, awards, and entertainment.
