About the Seven Oaks Travel Trot 5K
The course starts and ends on the school campus, looping through the surrounding neighborhood. It is a genuine neighborhood run, so expect residential streets rather than trails or a park path. The race raises money for student trips, which gives the morning a specific purpose beyond just a finish line.
After the race, there is chili, baked goods, and warm drinks at the finish. Walk-up registration is available the morning of the race in the school parking lot. Strollers are welcome on the course, and a playground on campus gives families a reason to stick around after.
