About the SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Half Marathon + 5K
The course runs along the coastline through Seaside with very little elevation change the whole way. It draws runners chasing personal records alongside people doing the distance for the first time, and the surroundings give both groups something to look at. The main highway through town closes for the race, so the road itself becomes the course.
Parking in Seaside is tight on race weekend, and the organizers are direct about it. Complimentary shuttles run from a middle school on the main highway, and that is the practical way in for most people. Parking passes for race day are issued at packet pickup, which happens at Seacoast Collegiate High School in the days before the race. Packets cannot be picked up on race day itself.
