About the Seabrook Lucky Trails

The course runs through Rex Meador Park in loops, with different distance options using different loop combinations. The terrain reads as park trail rather than road, and the multi-loop setup means you pass through the main area repeatedly, so there is always something happening around you.

Packet pickup runs on designated days in the days before the race at an Orangetheory Fitness location in Pasadena, with on-site pickup available at the park on race morning as a backup. Parking is spread across several nearby lots, including a school and a sports complex, and roads around the course close early, so arriving with extra time matters.

Finish-Time Stats

Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

Common Questions About the Seabrook Lucky Trails

Will I finish last at the Seabrook Lucky Trails?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 39:44, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:05:45, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Seabrook Lucky Trails a good first 5K?

A field of 286 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Seabrook Lucky Trails?

The 5K winner ran 18:55 while the median finisher took 39:44. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
