About the Screamin' Hill Scramble 5K

The course runs through the working farm grounds of a brewery, on groomed dirt trails and short-cut grass. It is genuinely off-road, though road shoes are fine. The terrain rolls through the same fields where the brewery grows its ingredients, which gives the whole thing an unusual backdrop. After the finish, there is live music, a couple of food trucks, and craft beer on tap.

Packet pickup is race morning at an on-site tent, and check-in closes well before the gun goes off, so arriving early matters. Parking is on the property and volunteers direct you in. Awards go out shortly after the race wraps up, at the stage where the musician is already playing.
