About the Scranton Half Marathon
The race starts and finishes at a baseball stadium, which gives the morning a distinctive anchor. The course winds through city streets, so you get a real look at Scranton's neighborhoods rather than a park loop. There is a separate walk option for those who want the full distance at their own pace, and a combined option for those who mix both.
The stadium serves as the event hub, with the expo held there in the days before. Packet pickup runs across two days before race day. A kids' fun run takes place on race morning on the infield, so the start area tends to have families around early.
