About the Scarin' Up Some Fun 5k Glow Run/Walk
The course winds through the trails at Northern State Recreation Area, looping past old barns and historic buildings after dark. It is a glow run, so the surroundings are dim by design, and the organizers are upfront that the trail has hazards and a genuine spooky atmosphere. If you are bringing children or dogs, that is worth thinking through ahead of time.
Check-in opens in the early evening, with the run starting as it gets dark. Onsite registration is available the night of the event for those who decide last minute.
