About the SCADaddle for Research 5k, Pittsburgh

The course runs through South Park, a sprawling historic park in the Pittsburgh area, on a chip-timed out-and-back or loop route through Edgebrook Field off Buffalo Drive. The park is open and well-suited for a comfortable morning run, with enough space that dogs and kids are part of the scene. Awards go to top finishers across a full range of age groups, so competitive runners have something to run for.

The race starts at Edgebrook Field, which has room to spread out before and after. There are refreshments after you finish, along with a SCAD-branded store on site where you can browse while you cool down.
