About the Sauk Valley Apple Cider Run
The course starts and finishes at a local greenhouse and farm market, which sets the tone for the whole morning. It rolls through farmland and countryside, with a stretch through a wooded area and across the Rock River. There is real elevation here, including a couple of segments that push your legs, so expect to work.
Apple cider and apple donuts are at the finish, along with food, drinks, and live music back at the start venue. The race also directs a portion of proceeds to local charitable organizations.
