About the Santa Shuffle Laconia
The course runs out and back through downtown Laconia, starting and finishing at City Hall. It is a timed race, though the pace is entirely your own. The whole thing kicks off the local lights festival, and costumes are part of the scene: Santas, elves, ugly sweaters, and reindeer all share the road.
Same-day registration opens early at the Belknap Mill before the start. Post-race prizes go to the top finishers in each age group, and there are raffles as well. Proceeds benefit a regional children's charity auction and the historic mill that serves as the registration site.
