About the Santa Run 5k and 1 mile
The course runs through a Christian retreat, so the surroundings are quiet and campus-like rather than street-facing. The route is fairly contained, which keeps things manageable without a lot of navigation. Music plays at the start area to set a holiday mood, and there is a guided group stretch before the gun goes off.
Packet pickup opens race morning, so there is no need to come the day before. After the race, grilled food and snacks are set out near the finish area.

The Santa Run 5k and 1 mile has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
