About the Santa Fun Run/Walk 5k
The race runs through Leroy Mathis Park and draws a crowd dressed for the season, Santa suit or otherwise. The entry fee is a new, unwrapped toy rather than cash, and everything donated goes to a local resource center for distribution to families in the area. Santa is on hand for photos near the start area.
Packet pickup happens at the park in the hour before the gun, so there is no separate trip the day before. Registration stays open through race morning on your phone if you have not signed up ahead of time. Age group awards are handled by a local vendor, with profits going to an emergency management fund.

Santa Fun Run/Walk 5k 2025 Results
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Santa Fun Run/Walk 5k has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
