About the Sanibel's only 10K/5K Race
The race starts and finishes at the Sanibel Community House on Periwinkle, which puts you right in the middle of the island. The course runs through Sanibel's streets, and both distances are open to walkers as well. After the finish, a kids' fun run takes over a nearby community park, so families tend to hang around well past the last finisher.
Packet pickup is spread across several days before the race, with options at a local recreation center, an outfitter on Periwinkle Way, and a running store on the mainland. There is also race-morning pickup at the Community House for those coming in fresh. Parking is available at nearby lots, including one off Periwinkle.
