About the Sandwich Fair Shake Up Shuffle
The race takes place on the grounds of the Sandwich Fair, starting and finishing on the infield track. Both distance options wind through the fairgrounds themselves, so you are running past the same barns, pavilions, and open spaces that fill up with fair visitors every fall. Strollers and wagons are welcome on either route.
Packet pickup is offered the afternoon before the race at a local lodge, with race-morning pickup available at the Suydam Road entrance, which is the only way in that day. The Pratt Road entrance is closed because the course runs through it. After finishing, there are refreshments and lemonade shake-ups at the finish, along with music and games.
