About the Sancta Clara Monastery Nun Run
The course moves through neighborhood streets, picks up a trail along the Middlebranch, and finishes on the monastery grounds, where nuns line the route to cheer runners in. The terrain shifts underfoot as you go, so expect pavement, trail, and something a little different at the end.
The start area is at a Byzantine Catholic church, which also hosts the post-race awards and refreshments in the reception hall. Packet pickup opens before the race begins, and there is a short kids fun run on the same morning before the main event gets underway.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Sancta Clara Monastery Nun Run has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
