About the Salmon Scramble Su-pear 5k and Fun Run
The course runs through town and onto the McCoy Creek Trail, mixing pavement, packed dirt, and grass. There are some hilly stretches along the way, and migrating salmon are sometimes visible from the trail itself. The race is part of a regional fruit-themed series, and entry fees go toward the trail organization that maintains the route.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the race location, with race-morning pickup available as well. Parking is at the high school lot and nearby side streets. Water, Gatorade, fruit, and other snacks are out at the finish.
