About the Saint James Almost Winter Classic 5K & XC Races

The race runs through Pleasant Valley Park, a green open space that also hosts a middle school cross-country championship on the same morning. The course has the feel of an XC event, which makes sense given its roots in a school cross-country program. Expect grass and park terrain rather than a road race surface.
