About the S3 Turkey Trot Detroit
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Detroit, and it runs through the streets just ahead of the city's big Thanksgiving parade. The crowd lining the route is there for both events, so the energy is genuine. Costumes are common, strollers are welcome, and there are several distance options, from a short mile to a longer run.
The race starts early, with the longer distances going off before the shorter ones. Everything happens in the parade corridor, so parking and access follow parade-day logistics. Post-race, the parade itself is right behind you.
