About the S'more Fun Trail Run
The course runs through Mirror Lake State Park, tracing the edge of the lake and passing near sandstone cliffs. The hills are real and the organizers will tell you so upfront. This is trail running through a state park, not a groomed path, so expect roots, elevation changes, and woods. Several distance options cover a wide range, from a short kids run to a half marathon.
After you finish, there is a campfire with s'mores, which fits the name and the setting well. The race raises money for a non-profit that funds trail work and programming at the park, so the entry fee goes somewhere tangible.
