The course runs on grass and gravel around a local athletic fields complex. It has the feel of a true cross-country race, not a road event, so expect some uneven footing and open ground. Relay teams split the distance between them, while solo runners do a couple of loops.
Pizza and cold drinks are at the finish. Check-in runs in the hour before the gun, and the race goes off rain or shine.
