About the Runtastic THANKFUL

The course follows the Jordan River Trail on the edge of Lehi, running on pavement through open space along the river. Several distance options make it a race where one person in a group might be doing a long effort while another does something shorter, and the whole thing has a Thanksgiving morning feeling to it.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Thanksgiving Point Show Barn, where a photo ID is required. If you miss that window, pickup is also offered on race morning at the info tent, though it costs extra. Hot chocolate and pumpkin pie are at the finish line when you are done.

Common Questions About the Runtastic THANKFUL

Will I finish last at the Runtastic THANKFUL?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 37:17, and the last recorded finisher came in around 2:18:26, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Runtastic THANKFUL a good first 3.1 Miles?

With 2,776 finishers there are runners at every pace, so you are never out on your own. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Runtastic THANKFUL?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 15:30 while the median finisher took 37:17. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
