The course drops through Payson Canyon along the Mt. Nebo Loop, a pine-lined road with sweeping curves and long views down toward Utah Valley and the lake beyond. The descent is sustained and significant, your legs feel it differently than a flat road, and the surrounding ridgeline stays in view for most of the run. Several distance options are available.
