About the Running With Rotary 5K
The course runs on closed paved roads through Mount Arlington, with views of Lake Hopatcong along the way. The terrain is smooth underfoot, the route passes Bertrand Island, and there is a water stop around the midpoint. It is named in memory of a local police officer, and the proceeds go toward the eighth-grade class.
Packet pickup opens on race morning at the Mount Arlington Civic Center, which also serves as the start area. Age group awards go several places deep, and overall prizes are handed out for both the top men and top women.
