About the Running with Ed - 2027
Running with Ed is a team relay that winds through Park City on a mix of single-track trail, crushed gravel, and paved paths. The course passes Olympic venues, a historic barn, and several local schools, with legs ranging from short and manageable to long and demanding. One stretch sends a teammate up a long staircase at the Olympic Park, while the rest of the team watches from below.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local middle school, and it is drive-through style: pull in, give your team name to a volunteer, and they bring everything to your car. Only one person per team needs to make the trip. The race starts and finishes at the Basin Recreation Field House, and schools along the route host exchange zones with music and energy between legs.
