About the Running of the Turkeys

The course runs through Country Park, a wooded park in Greensboro with paved paths. There is one aid station mid-course as you loop back into the park, and another at the finish. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, and a separate untimed walk follows the timed race, so the morning draws a wide range of people out to the park.

Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at Fleet Feet on Lawndale Drive. Race-day pickup is available but limited to a short window before the start, and the organizers strongly prefer you pick up early. Parking at the park fills quickly; a backup lot at the Greensboro Science Center is about a half-mile walk from the start. Carpool if you can.
