About the Running of the Squares Brownwood
The course runs through Brownwood, one of The Villages' town squares, on roads and multi-modal paths. The route is flat, winding through a planned community where residents line the course. Age group awards run deep, and there are team categories as well, so it draws a range of participants from solo runners to organized groups.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before the race at La Hacienda Regional Center on Avenida Central, or you can send someone in your place. Race-morning pickup is also available near the finish line before the start.
