This is a costume-friendly race tied to a larger Whoville-themed celebration, so expect characters from the story mixed in with the usual running gear. The course starts near the St. Mary's Parish area and the Legion, in the heart of a small downtown, and the route is a road race through town.

Parking is near the Main Street pavilion, which is easy to spot. Registration opens race morning at that same spot. After you finish, the broader festival is already going, with vendors, food, and activities, so there is reason to stick around beyond the finish line.
