About the 2026 Runnin' Monks 5K Road Race

The course runs on roads through the college athletics complex, hosted by the cross country program there. It is a campus race, which means the surroundings are quiet and the course is well-marked by people who run it themselves. Proceeds go directly to both cross country teams, so the volunteers tend to know what they are doing.

Packet pickup and bib collection happen in the Alfond Center Lobby before the race. A kids fun run on the track runs just ahead of the main event, so the start area has younger children finishing up as the adult field is warming up.
