About the Runner's Birthday Bash 5k and Fun Run/Walk
The course rolls through the residential streets surrounding Tiemeyer Park, with enough gentle elevation change to keep it honest. It starts and finishes near the park's pavilion area, on the east side. Shorter distances stay inside the park, so the morning has different things happening in different places at once.
Packet pickup is race morning at the park itself. The event benefits a memorial foundation, and there is food and music at the finish area, giving the post-race stretch a block-party feel.
